What are the swing states to watch, and when may they declare?

According to observers, both Trump and Harris have a genuine possibility of winning the campaign, which is predicted to depend on the outcomes of seven swing states.

Both in-person and mail-in early voting have seen record-breaking turnout.

Georgia: At 19:00 EST (00:00 GMT), polls close in the Peach State. Approximately 75% of the votes will be counted in the first two hours, according to Georgia’s senior election official.

North Carolina: Thirty minutes after Georgia, polls close. Before the end of the evening, the results for North Carolina should be revealed.

Pennsylvania: Although analysts say it might take at least 24 hours before enough votes are tallied to determine a winner, voting is set to stop at 20:00 EST (01:00 GMT).

Michigan: At 21:00 EST (02:00 GMT), voting will end. It is not anticipated to get a result until Wednesday evening.

Wisconsin: Although experts estimate the state won’t have a winner until at least Wednesday, results for smaller counties should be in soon after polls close at 21:00 EST.

Arizona: The largest county in the state warns that results won’t be available until early Wednesday morning, but preliminary results could arrive as early as 22:00 EST (03:00 GMT). It could take up to 13 days to count postal ballots that were dropped off on election day.

Nevada: It can take days for the votes to be counted here. Votes may be mailed to the state as long as they were sent on election day and arrive by November 9 at the latest.
